Freelancing with the Coat of Arms team, I was among a very talented group of animators who brought to life the imaginative vision for SXSW. SXSW is an annual conglomeration of parallel film, interactive media, and music festivals and conferences that take place in mid-March in Austin, Texas. It began in 1987 and has continued growing in both scope and size every year. My work focused on animating within the established motion guidelines to curate a tactile, stop-motion-inspired feel that contributed to the festival’s broader visual identity across physical and digital components and merchandise.
