I created a custom painting for the homepage of Awakenings, a deeply meaningful project centered on healing through art for survivors of sexual violence. Drawing inspiration from our conversations around the liberating power of creative expression, the piece symbolizes the transformative journey of art therapy processing trauma through beauty, movement, and self-expression. Incorporating the peacock from Awakenings’ visual identity, the painting evokes strength, renewal, and voice reclaimed.
